“We met Sheri about 2 years ago when we bought our dream home, she was highly recommended by our realtor. The sellers were desperate to move fast and asked for a quick close. We closed 12 days after putting in the offer. At the time I don’t think I realized what a great performance that was, but a year later, we needed a second home loan. Enticed by a $1,600 seller credit when using their preferred lender, I decided to go with the “preferred lender” instead of Sheri and her team at Benchmark Mortgage. Fast forward 2 months and 2 contract amendments later, each of them postponing the closing date, it turned out that, since the sellers were also paying the closing costs, I could only take $150 of that credit, before maxing out on how much the seller could pay in total. That’s what I call a “lose-lose situation”. I’m sorry I didn’t use Sheri, it won’t happen again!”
